Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 21 August 2026
Thank you for choosing St. John’s Tutorial. We are committed to providing high-quality IELTS, Spoken English, and other educational services to our students.
Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making any payment or enrolling in any course.
- Course Admission Fees
Course admission, registration, or enrollment fees paid to St. John’s Tutorial are generally non-refundable once the student has been enrolled or the course has commenced.
Students are therefore strongly advised to carefully consider and confirm their course, module, batch, and learning method before making any payment.
- Cancellation Before Course Commencement
If a student requests cancellation before the course officially begins, St. John’s Tutorial may consider the refund request on a case-by-case basis.
If a refund is approved, applicable administrative, registration, payment gateway, banking, or other processing charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Approval of a refund is subject to the applicable course terms, payment conditions, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Cancellation After Course Commencement
Once classes, course materials, online access, mock tests, computer-based practice tests, or other course services have been provided or commenced, the applicable fees are generally non-refundable.
This includes situations where a student:
- Changes their mind after enrollment
- Stops attending classes
- Is unable to attend due to personal reasons
- Changes their IELTS examination date
- Decides to study elsewhere
- Does not use all available classes, facilities, or services
Failure to attend classes or use the available services does not normally qualify a student for a refund.
- Course, Module or Batch Transfer
St. John’s Tutorial strongly advises students to carefully consider their needs, goals, and future plans before enrolling and to select the appropriate course, module, batch, and Online/Offline learning method.
Once admission and enrollment are completed, the selected course, module, batch, or learning method cannot be changed. St. John’s Tutorial does not normally accept or approve requests for such changes after enrollment.
The following changes are not permitted after enrollment:
- Online Course to Offline Course
- Offline Course to Online Course
- IELTS General Training Module to IELTS Academic Module
- IELTS Academic Module to IELTS General Training Module
- Transfer from one batch to another
- Transfer from one course to another
Therefore, students are strongly advised to confirm their selected course, module, batch, and Online/Offline learning method before completing enrollment.
Requests for changes due to personal reasons, scheduling difficulties, a change of preference, a change in IELTS examination date, or any other personal circumstances will generally not be accepted.
By making the admission or course fee payment and completing enrollment, the student is deemed to have understood and agreed to the selected course, module, batch, and learning method.
- Class Attendance
Students are responsible for attending their scheduled classes and making proper use of the educational services provided during the course period.
Failure to attend classes does not normally qualify a student for a refund, extension, or transfer.
- Online Classes and Digital Services
Fees paid for online classes, digital learning materials, mock tests, computer-based practice tests, or other digital services are generally non-refundable once access has been provided or the relevant service has commenced.
- Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a student accidentally makes a duplicate payment or pays an amount in excess of the required fee, they should contact St. John’s Tutorial as soon as possible.
After verification, an eligible duplicate or excess payment may, where applicable:
- Be refunded; or
- Be adjusted against another payable service.
Any applicable transaction, banking, payment gateway, or processing charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
- Cancellation of a Course by St. John’s Tutorial
If St. John’s Tutorial cancels a course before it begins and is unable to provide the course as originally scheduled, the student may be eligible for a refund of the applicable unused course fee, subject to the circumstances and applicable terms.
Where possible, St. John’s Tutorial may offer an alternative arrangement, such as rescheduling the course or providing another suitable arrangement.
However, any alternative arrangement will be subject to the availability and approval of St. John’s Tutorial and does not create an automatic right for the student to change their enrolled course, module, batch, or Online/Offline learning method.
If no suitable alternative arrangement can be provided, St. John’s Tutorial may process an eligible refund in accordance with this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method, where practical and appropriate.
The time required for the refund to appear in the student’s account may depend on the relevant bank, payment gateway, mobile financial service, or other payment provider.
Any applicable non-refundable transaction or payment processing charges may be deducted where permitted.

Refund requests should be submitted to St. John’s Tutorial with the following information:
- Student’s full name
- Registered mobile number
- Course or batch name
- Payment date
- Payment amount
- Transaction or reference number

St. John’s Tutorial may request additional information or supporting documents to verify the payment, enrollment, and refund request.

Special promotional offers, discounted packages, admission campaigns, scholarships, and other promotional payments may be subject to separate terms and conditions.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotional or discounted course fees are non-refundable after enrollment or commencement of the relevant service.
- Refund Disputes and Complaints
